WATCH: Giants give up 52-yard TD on third-and-33

The New York Giants are completely broken. They’ve been served up wide receiver injury after wide receiver injury with a side of bad Eli Manning this season.

And it’s not getting any better.

Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams is the latest example of this. With his Rams facing a third-and-33 in the second quarter, Los Angeles quarterback Jared Goff hit receiver Robert Woods for a touchdown pass.

Yes, you read that right. The two connected on a touchdown on third and 33 percent of the darn football field.

As awesome as this might have been for the Rams, it was equally disgusting for a Giants defense that was expected to be among the best in the game.

Here’s the video of this travesty.

What in the world, New York?

By virtue of giving up this touchdown, the Giants’ defense should be stripped of their credentials. No longer can we call them an NFL defense. Instead, they’re a variation of Oklahoma State and Oklahoma trying to play defense. Bedlam in Jersey, indeed. And not the good kind.
