The Seattle Seahawks and Washington Redskins put on a show Sunday, taking the game right down to the wire. In the end, the Redskins pulled out a magnificent win that had social media buzzing with excitement.
Russell Wilson had an awful time of it Sunday and threw two interceptions. Then he woke up in the fourth quarter, as he’s wont to do. Engineering a five-play drive that took less than a minute and went 71 yards, Wilson put the Seahawks up over the Redskins, 14-10 with just 94 seconds left on the clock.
CLUTCH.@DangeRussWilson to @DougBaldwinJr for the LATE touchdown!
Wow. #Seahawks https://t.co/t8qfmSzUhD

It was the second week in a row in which Wilson engineered a fourth-quarter comeback at home over a tough opponent. People all over the place chimed in on his remarkable poise under pressure.
Russell Wilson is a special QB, what he's done this season is amazing especially with that O line #Seahawks #WASvsSEA

Swap Russell Wilson for any other QB in the NFL and the Seahawks are 3-4 this season, at best.

And y’all hate Russell Wilson for what reason again? That man is clutch

Don't rule out the Russell Wilson joining the MVP discussion. He's put the team on his back lately #Seahawks #NFL #RussellWilson

How does Russell Wilson turn it on like that? Why can't he do that in the first quarter? #WASvsSEA

Surely, the Seahawks would win this game, right?
Josh Doctson and Kirk Cousins had a different idea. Going 70 yards in four plays and just 35 seconds, the Redskins went up by three points. Doctson nearly scored on a 38-yard strike but was touched down at the one-foot line. One play later, Rob Kelley punched in the go-ahead score.
WHAT A PLAY!
Cousins to Doctson. Down inside the 1-yard line.
Incredible! #WASvsSEA https://t.co/qeNLChf4yN

This #redskins vs #seahawks game has been entertaining

The only problem with the quick-strike touchdown by the Redskins is that it gave the incomparable Russell Wilson almost a minute to operate.
Wilson did get the Seahawks down into Redskins territory. After a crazy sequence in which the refs reviewed a play in the final seconds, causing the Seahawks to have one final shot to make a play for a touchdown to win the game from 46 yards out.

In the end, Seattle was unable to score, and somehow, Washington walked out of CenturyLink Field with a three-point win.

It was the second week in a row that Seattle fans were treated to a game that went down to the wire. Only this time, Wilson was unable to conjure the magic needed to win at the final whistle.
