New Los Angeles Clippers guard Patrick Beverley missed two weeks of action with a knee injury prior to returning on Monday.
Unfortunately for Beverley and the free-falling Clippers, the guard will now be out indefinitely after undergoing surgery on the ailing knee.

This is definitely bad news for a Clippers team that has lost nine consecutive games and finds itself among the bottom rung in the Western Conference.
Acquired from Houston in the Chris Paul trade, Beverley performed extremely well to start the season. In 11 games, he’s averaging 12.2 points and 4.1 rebounds while shooting at a 40 percent clip from distance.
It’s not a coincidence that Los Angeles boasts a 5-6 record in the 11 games he’s played and is 0-5 with him sidelined. A defensive stopper, the veteran is key to what Doc Rivers is trying to build.
