With a big lead, poor field position and time running out in the first half, it only seemed logical that the Cincinnati Bengals would run the clock against the Cleveland Browns. Giovani Bernard had other ideas.
The running back took a screen pass from Andy Dalton and sprinted to the end zone untouched for a 61-yard touchdown.

It’s hard to believe that the Cleveland defense was so unprepared for that play. A screen play is only natural in a spot like that. How exactly did Bernard get so free for that play?
Whatever the answer, it closed out a dominant first half for the Bengals, who went into the halftime locker room up 21-0 against their in-state rivals.
