While he’d likely be a top pick (if not the top pick) in the 2018 NFL Draft, a new report is suggesting that USC quarerback Sam Darnold will return to school.
Keep hearing from scouts who've made USC school calls that Darnold is going to stay in school

Darnold has certainly shown that he has potential. In five games, he’s completed 64.6 percent of his passes for 1,389 yards with nine touchdowns and a 139.1 passer rating (87.1 with the NFL system). But he’s also thrown at least one interception per game and already has eight on the season.
That certainly points to a quarterback who’s talented, but raw. There’s unquestionably a lot of room to improve there.
This also isn’t a decision that needs to be made now. Darnold has made it clear he’s not into teams tanking for him. He also has months to officially decide on whether he’ll go to the draft. So, this is something to monitor. His mind could change several times between now and the official deadline.
