In his first game back to U.S. Bank Stadium as a member of the New Orleans Saints, running back Adrian Peterson picked up an unexpected start against his old team.
Peterson, who is listed as New Orleans’ No. 2 back, started amid boos against the Minnesota Vikings.

Those two carries marked Peterson’s only touches on the opening possession, which ended in a New Orleans field goal. He ran for 10 yards.
