Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram are going to play huge roles for the Los Angeles Chargers if the team has any hopes of earning a playoff spot this season. It’s one of the most-dynamic defensive duos in the NFL.
That came out in force Saturday night against the Los Angeles Rams and quarterback Jared Goff.
With the Rams driving midway through the first quarter, Bosa beat offensive lineman Rob Havenstein to get to Goff without the young quarterback seeing him. The end result was a strip sack that Ingram returned 76 yards for a touchdown.

This is the type of playmaking ability that made Bosa the No. 3 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft and saw him put up 10.5 sacks en route to earning NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year honors.
As for Goff, he must start doing a better job anticipating pressure. The lack of field vision there is alarming.
