What happens when you put a pitch into the hitting zone of Giancarlo Stanton? The ball goes very far. This is true even if the pitcher Madison Bumgarner.
The San Francisco Giants lefty challenged Stanton and more than 430 feet later, it was clear that the Miami Marlins star had won the challenge.

The homer extended Stanton’s club record for home runs in a season. It was also Stanton’s six straight game with a homer, putting him two short of the MLB record jointly held by Ken Griffey Jr., Dale Long and Don Mattingly.
Stanton cleared waivers on Tuesday and he’s certainly giving any prospective teams something special to watch.
