The Oregon State Beavers are definitely expected to contend for a postseason spot this season. That’s primarily due to transfer Jake Luton under center.
But in Saturday’s Oregon State debut, Luton himself was victimized by this brilliant play from Colorado State linebacker Tre Thomas.

Sure this was a bad throw by Luton, but Thomas showed excellent awareness and athleticism to take it to the house for a 44-yard interception return for a touchdown.
To top it off, Thomas was seen on the sideline hoisting a championship belt.
Fitting for what is taking place in Las Vegas Saturday night.
Colorado State headed into the fourth quarter with a 34-20 lead, in part due to Luton’s two interceptions.
