This is just terrible news, both for Enunwa and the Jets, who are already talent poor at the receiver position.
Originally a sixth-round pick by New York in 2014, the former Nebraska star was the best receiver on the team heading into camp. Last season, he was the leading receiver for Gang Green, hauling in 58 passes for 857 yards and four touchdowns.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Media notes Enunwa is still undergoing tests to see how severe his injury is, but he also confirmed that he is expected to miss the season. We wish him nothing but the best as he awaits the results, which might end up determining his future as a professional football player.
