The Arizona Cardinals are going to need young receiver John Brown healthy and at 100 percent if they hope to rebound after last season’s disastrous performance.
Unfortunately for the Cardinals, Brown has been limited in camp due to a quad injury. This comes on the heels of him struggling through injuries during a substandard 2016 campaign that saw the speedster put up just 517 yards and two touchdowns. Remember, he was a 1,000-yard performance as a sophomore back in 2015.
Now, as the Cardinals prepare for the regular season, head coach Bruce Arians is admitting that he’s concerned over Brown’s nagging quad injury.
BA said WR John Brown not practicing full time is a concern. (He's been participating in certain drills during practice) #CardsCamp

Without Brown in the mix, Arizona doesn’t really have anyone that can stretch the field opposite possession receiver Larry Fitzgerald. The future Hall of Famer did put up 107 receptions last year, but he also averaged a career low 9.6 yards per catch.
Hopefully for the Cardinals’ sake, Brown is able to resume full-time practicing before the start of the regular season.
