It would seem so natural. The tallest player in Houston Rockets history and a true international icon deciding to buy the team. After all, Yao Ming has the money and world-wide respect that’s needed to make a purchase of this ilk.
Unfortunately for those who were looking at a potential Yao reunion in Houston, he has completely ruled out the possibility of buying the Rockets.

The Rockets were just recently put up for sale by owner Leslie Alexander. With a value of $1.6 billion, it will take a whole lot of cash to purchase the squad.
Ming played eight full seasons in the NBA, earning an All-Star appearance each year. He averaged 19.0 points and 9.2 rebounds during a career that ultimately led to him being inducted into the Hall of Fame.
