Also smiling ear-to-ear is Lynch’s mom, Delisa, who went public with her happiness.
“Home is where the heart is,” Delisa Lynch told 95.7. “What a way to go out with a bang.” #Raiders

Delisa also revealed she had already chatted with retired safety Charles Woodson about his No. 24, which is Lynch’s number.
.@MommaLynch24 says she asked @cwoodson24 “a long time ago” if her son could wear 24 if he came to #Raiders. Woodson said of course

How sweet is it of Woodson to comply?
Lynch landing in Oakland took a bit longer than expected, though there there was the trade with the Seattle Seahawks and contract details to work out. In the end, all seems to have nicely ironed itself out.
Lynch even tweeted earlier how excited and thankful he is to have a chance to play in his home town of Oakland.
We predict he will make an immediate impact on a Raiders offense that saw Latavius Murray leave in free agency. Lynch last played active football as member of the Seahawks in 2015. He has since had over a year to rest his body and get in top condition for his new endeavor.
We wish Lynch all the success as he winds down his career as a Raider.
