The Cincinnati Bengals have made a rare splash in free agency. It comes in the form of former Arizona Cardinals linebacker Kevin Minter, who has reportedly agreed to sign with the Bengals.
I'm told the #Bengals are signing FA LB Kevin Minter, per source.

Minter, 26, was a second-round pick of the Cardinals back in 2013. After acting the part of a reserve linebacker for the team during his firs two seasons, Minter has started all 16 games in each of the past two years. During that span, the LSU product has tallied 175 tackles.
Still young, there’s surely room for improvement here. As it is, look for Minter to either start at the strong-side linebacker position in Cincinnati or replace an aging Rey Maualuga at middle linebacker.
