The Arizona Cardinals were about to take the lead against the Minnesota Vikings. Xavier Rhodes had other ideas. He not only intercepted Carson Palmer, but returned it 100 yards for the score.

Clearly there was some miscommunication between Palmer and receiver John Brown. But that’s not the kind of pass that anyone expects to see from a veteran quarterback like Palmer.
For Rhodes, the interception did more than give his team six (and eventually seven) points. It was also a bit of Vikings history.

The score put Minnesota up 20-10 on Arizona late in the first half.
