The San Francisco 49ers have lost nine consecutive games. They boast the second-worst record in the NFL. They’ve been an emabarrassment, both on and off the field this season.
Fans in Northern California just want to see the torture (season) end.
Unfortunately, these fans will have to watch this watered-down version of the 49ers play without former Pro Bowl safety Eric Reid for the final six games of the year.
Matt Maiocco over at CSN Bay Area is reporting that Reid will miss the remainder of the season with torn biceps.
MRI confirms a torn biceps for #49ers safety Eric Reid. He will require season ending surgery.

Reid has been one of the few bright spots on an otherwise disastrous 49ers defense this season. He’s recorded 62 tackles, six passes defended, an interception and a forced fumble in 10 games (all starts).
In fact, an argument could be made that Reid was the 49ers’ only Pro Bowl caliber player before going down to injury Sunday against the New England Patriots.
