Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers, needing a late score to break a tie in the fourth quarter, were hoping to make a few big plays to get into field goal range. Marcus Peters had other ideas.

There’s no other way to put it, Peters just stole that ball from Kelvin Benjamin.
He did make a mistake in kicking the ball, costing his team five yards with the delay of game penalty. But that was rendered irrelevant when Cairo Santos buried 37-yard field goal as time expired.
With that, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated Carolina 20-17. At one point, the Panthers, now 3-6 on the season, led the game 17-0.
