There’s no telling when Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant will be on the field again, but it’s almost assuredly not going to be this week against the San Francisco 49ers.
Speaking to media in the Bay Area, Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett indicated that Bryant suffered a hairline fracture in his knee last Sunday night against the Chicago Bears.

The injury happened early in Dallas’ win over Chicago, and Bryant was able to return to the field, scoring a late-game touchdown in the process.
Garrett’s day-to-day conclusion seems to be a bit more optimistic than what the injury would normally indicate.
As it stands right now, the Cowboys shouldn’t expect Bryant to be back on the field this upcoming weekend in Santa Clara. After that, it’s pretty much anyone’s guess.
