New Jacksonville Jaguars running back Chris Ivory was questionable to play Sunday with a calf injury. He’s now out due to a situation that has nothing to do with said injury.

It’s not yet known what is bothering Ivory, but his admittance into the hospital is said to be precautionary.
From an on-field standpoint, this limits the Jaguars against a superior Green Bay Packers squad in their season opener. With Ivory sidelined, T.J. Yeldon will be the primary ball carrier in the team’s season opener.
Ivory, 28, signed a free-agent deal with the Jaguars back in the spring after putting up a career season for the New York Jets.
The veteran tallied nearly 1,300 total yards and eight scores en route to earning a lucrative payday from the Jags. He’s expected to play an important role in helping Jacksonville create some balance.
It remains to be seen exactly what’s happening here, but we will keep you updated as information trickles in.
