In what would be the biggest transfer fee ever paid for a footballer, $140 million man Paul Pogba seems destined to move from Italian giants Juventus to Manchester United, the club he played for at under-21 level.
Pogba reportedly flew into Manchester airport on Saturday evening, where he is alleged to have a medical at some point on Sunday.
Whether his signing will be announced before or after the English Community Shield, which is to be played on Sunday between Manchester United and English Premier League champions Leicester City, is unsure.
What is known is that Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri requested Pogba’s return by Monday for training so it appears this saga has to come to an end very soon.
Jose Mourinho has also stated he wants a settled team before their respective seasons kick off on Saturday the 13th of August.
