All of you hoping against hope that Kevin Durant actually wouldn’t end up on the Golden State Warriors can pretty much put that to rest.
The former MVP will hold his introductory press conference with the two-time defending Western Conference champions at Oracle Arena in Oakland on Thursday.
And the Warriors are doing everything possible to give him a warm welcome.

The move to sign Durant created a big four in Oakland that no other super team in recent NBA history can compare to. It was also done much to the chagrin of others around the Association.
As it is, Durant will join the Splash Brothers to form what many expect to be one of the best teams in the history of the league. Whether that happens remains to be seen. What we do know is that those associated with the Warriors are giddy about the addition.
