The San Francisco 49ers are apparently parting ways with a couple veterans from their disappointing 2015 team.
According to Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area, the team has not expressed any interest in bringing back wide receiver Anquan Boldin or running back Reggie Bush.
That should read: The #49ers have not asked WR Anquan Boldin and RB Reggie Bush to re-sign.

Bush is not surprising. The oft-injured running back played only sparingly for San Francisco in 2015, unable to stay healthy enough to remain on the field. It’s difficult to predict where Bush might end up in 2016, as his injury history is such that no sensible team would commit big resources on him.
Given that he’d likely be a cheap, low-risk investment, essentially any of the NFL’s 32 teams are possible destinations.
Boldin is a little different, and San Francisco’s lack of interest is a little more surprising. While an older receiver may not seem ideal for Chip Kelly’s up-tempo system, he’s remained an effective receiver even late in his career.
Playing in 14 games during the 2015 season, he caught 69 passes for 789 yards and four touchdowns.
The veteran leadership at receiver would also likely be a boon for whoever is starting in San Francisco this upcoming season.
With that said, it’s also likely that Boldin will be able to latch on with another team here in the not-so-distant future. Contenders like the New England Patriots and Carolina Panthers, among others, could certainly use his skills.
