Hideous NFL Color Rush uniforms to be worn in Bills-Jets game Week 2

Perhaps because the NFL’s “Color Rush” experiment started out so fabulously last season when roughly eight percent of color blind people couldn’t tell one team from the other, the league is bringing the tradition back starting in Week 2.

Yes. The New York Jets and Buffalo Bills will once again take the field, this time at Ralph Wilson Stadium, wearing “Color Rush” uniforms that have yet to be disclosed per Dan Hanzus of NFL.com.

The game takes place on Thursday, September 15 when we can be sure the league will be taking extreme measures not to dress the guys in solid red and green which a person experiencing color blindness cannot distinguish.

Per the report, the Bills/Jets game will kick off a four-week stretch of “Color Rush” spirit on Thursday Night Football.

Needless to say, last year’s botched experiment created all kinds of backlash from those who literally got a headache trying to watch the game in grayscale.

Last year’s NFL Color Rush uniforms that weren’t an issue for the color blind among us were not exactly styling, either. In fact, it’s not a stretch to say they were downright ugly (see here, if you dare).

Hopefully for everyone’s sake this year, the NFL will do a better job of putting style in motion for the 2016 season when Color Rush uniforms are featured once again.
