Adam Gase and the Miami Dolphins have finalized a new deal to make him the new head coach for the NFL franchise.
Adam Schefter was first with this news, citing a source, and then Miami made it official shortly after.

This comes after Gase went in for his second interview yesterday.
This deal is the first of many dominoes to fall in the coming days for teams in need of new coaches. Gase was highly regarded by all teams looking for a new head coach and was close to landing a deal with the San Francisco 49ers last year.
Gase is known as an offensive guru. He coached Tim Tebow and Peyton Manning during his tenure with the Denver Broncos and most recently helped Jay Cutler improve his game this past season with the Chicago Bears.
The Dolphins surely hope he can work the same kind of magic on quarterback Ryan Tannehill in Miami.
The young signal caller regressed this season without clear guidance after Joe Philbin was fired. Miami is counting on him to become a franchise passer for the next decade. If that is to happen then he will need to improve in the coming years.
Now he’ll have a chance to learn from one of the game’s best coaches in Gase.
