Warren Sapp and other former Miami players are disgusted with head coach Al Golden for the performance of the Hurricanes on Saturday against Clemson.
At halftime, Miami was already down by a score of 42-0 as the Tigers were dominating every aspect of the game.
Sapp took to his Twitter account to rip into Golden for allowing his team to fail so badly at home.
Thank U ABC! #FireHim

Well the mascot leads US out of the smoke?, I guess it's his team. #AlGottaGo pic.twitter.com/BiAYEFSNOU

He even went so far as to criticize the coach for wearing a shirt that didn’t represent the University.
Why is Al the only coach on our sidelines without the U on Him? #SomebodyHelpMeWithThis

Clearly, this former Hurricane is ready to see the “U” be led by another man.
Assuming Miami loses this game, the Hurricanes will be 4-3 on the season, which is right about average for a Golden-coached team since his arrival.
Fans have been flying “#FireAlGolden” banners around Sun Life Stadium all season long, and now former players are getting in on the action.
Sapp wasn’t the only former player to express his displeasure on Saturday, either. Leon Searcy also took to Twitter after the Hurricanes went down 21-0 in the first quarter.

Clemson made Miami’s home turf as its own on Saturday, and the Hurricanes have no recourse with which to stop the onslaught to this point.
Clearly, Golden doesn’t have what it takes to make the “U” relevant again, and there is only one solution to remedy this problem: Either now or at the end of the 2015 campaign, Miami must fire Al Golden.
