The Tyler Lockett hype train just went into overdrive.
The Seattle Seahawks rookie receiver took less than one quarter to establish himself as a premier playmaker, taking a punt return back for a touchdown in the first quarter of the team’s Week 1 contest against the St. Louis Rams.
Here is a video of his ridiculously easy 57-yard return.

The touchdown put the Seahawks up 7-0 over the Rams with just over four minutes left in the first quarter.
According to ESPN Stats & Info, this was Seattle’s first punt return for touchdown since 2007.

Based on Lockett’s preseason success and this start to his 2015 campaign, it’s fair to assume the franchise won’t go eight years between return touchdowns going forward.
