Jameis Winston’s first NFL pass was picked off by Coty Sensabaugh, who ran it back 26 yards for a defensive touchdown.
Winston came into the league with somewhat of a reputation for poor-decision making, and many NFL analysts expected him to struggle as a rookie. Nobody could have predicted he’d get his career off to this kind of a start, however.
Here is the video of Winston’s truly awful first NFL pass.

Fear not, Tampa Bay Buccaneers fans. Winston isn’t the first quarterback to get his career started off on the sourest of notes. Brett Favre also started his career with a pick-six.
Did you know: Favre's first pass was a pick six.

The defensive score put the Tennessee Titans up over Tampa Bay by a score of 14-0, as fellow rookie Marcus Mariota’s managed to get his career started on more of a positive note with a 52-yard touchdown strike to Kendall Wright.
