The Philadelphia Eagles might be looking for a trade partner to move Matt Barkley.
According to a report by ESPN’s Dianna Marie Russini, the Eagles may be showing off the second-year quarterback for this very reason.
Look for the Eagles to be showing off QB Matt Barkley. Eagles sources tell me Barkley can be had for the right deal. So its showcase time!

Even though Barkley sits ahead of fourth-string quarterback Tim Tebow, it appears the Kelly is making every effort to keep Tebow as part of the final 53-man roster. This would have Barkley looking like the odd man out in a crowded quarterback room.
Kelly’s motive as to why he signed Tebow to the team has been in question ever since pen went to paper during the offseason.
In Saturday night’s preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens, Barkley played the entire third quarter completing only 6 of 14 for a total of 86 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions. He did help the Eagles score in two drives which resulted in a pair of field goals.
If the trade rumors are true, Barkley didn’t exactly dazzle in his opportunity to impress any potential suitors.
