Cam Newton was involved in a training camp kerfuffle on Monday morning.
He apparently threw an interception that was snatched by cornerback Josh Norman. Upon Norman’s return of said interception, Newton and he ended up on the bottom of a rather large pile of men after he and Norman got into it.

Not surprisingly, things continued to get heated after the mini-brawl, with veteran safety Roman Harper throwing a bit of elbow grease into a tackle shortly after.

Training camp fights happen practically every day around the league. However, it is awfully rare to see a franchise quarterback involved to this extent.
Hopefully for the Panthers, the exchange will serve to galvanize the team. After all, when your leader is fired up, then everybody else will be, too.
