It was just last month that Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant threatened to hold out of the team’s Week 1 game against the New York Giants if the two sides are unable to come to terms on a new contract.
What seemed to be a bunch of smoke may now in fact have some substance to it:
Sources: @DezBryant personally called Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones to say he won't attend camp, will miss real games unless signed by Wed.

The franchise tag deadline for Bryant is Wednesday. If the two sides don’t come to terms on a new deal by then, the star receiver will have to choose between signing off on the tender or sitting out into the 2015 season.
Considering Bryant would be out about $801,000 for every regular season game he decides to sit out, it’s really easy for Bryant to bark right now. But the minute he starts seeing his bottom line impacted, everything will change.
