The Green Bay Packers new “throwback” uniforms were to have been revealed in August according to president Mark Murphy. However, Uni Watch’s Paul Lukas reported that pictures of the throwbacks showed up on the Nike website late Monday night.

The players have worn their Acme Packers throwbacks in one game over the past five seasons. The team had planned to make the announcement of which game they would wear the third alternate throwback when that uniform was revealed. Apparently one part of the surprise has been spoiled.
According to reports, the new throwback looks similar to the ones the Packers wore in 1994 when the NFL celebrated its 75th anniversary. Those uniforms were replicas of what the Packers used to wear back in the 1940’s.
Since the photos were leaked, it has been confirmed that these are the new throwbacks.
