We ran an article earlier on Friday that focused on a disturbing story coming out of Jacksonville relating to an injury that Jaguars first-round pick Dante Fowler Jr. suffered.
Unfortunately, the speculation in that story has now become fact. ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that Fowler did indeed tear his ACL and will miss the entire 2015 season.
Jaguars' 1st-round pick Dante Fowler tore his ACL and is out for the season, league source tells ESPN. Just wow.

It’s an absolutely horrific blow to the Jaguars and head coach Gus Bradley, who were relying on the No. 3 overall pick in last week’s draft to provide the team with the pass-rush threat that it’s been missing.
For Fowler, who suffered the injury during his first day of practice in the NFL, it’s an absolutely devastating blow.
Here’s the injury as it happened.

We wish Fowler a speedy recovery. Hopefully he’s able to come back from this injury stronger than ever.
