According to a report from NFL Players Inc., Denver Broncos’ quarterback Peyton Manning’s No. 18 jersey took the top-selling jersey spot away from Seattle Seahawks’ quarterback Russell Wilson.
In the Report, which is conducted by Dick’s Sporting Goods, Manning’s jersey was also No. 1 through the end of the regular season, beating out Indianapolis Colts’ quarterback Andrew Luck.
According to all retail sales rankings, San Francisco 49ers’ quarterback Colin Kaepernick came in third. Next was Dallas Cowboys’ wide receiver Dez Bryant followed by New England Patriots’ quarterback Tom Brady.
However, Seahawks’ jerseys outsold all other team jerseys with Denver and Carolina ranking second and third respectively.
One thing to note here is that the reports for Manning’s jersey sales ended in November and December before the Broncos lost in the divisional playoffs. Something tells us there will be some different sales numbers to report after the next fiscal quarter.
