Miami Dolphins Owner Predictions NFL Team in LA Within Five Years

Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross isn’t holding back when discussing the potential of a NFL team playing in Los Angeles for the first time since both the Raiders and Rams moved following the 1994 season.

How Ross would know this is the larger question at hand. The key part of that quote is that Ross expects it to be an existing team that will move to Los Angeles. The Rams, Raiders and Jacksonville Jaguars have all been rumored to be moving to Southern California at some point. While none of these rumors have picked up steam, Oakland and St. Louis are currently in the midst of stadium issues, which could lead to a move.

The key component to a potential move, at least from a short-term perspective, would be the Rose Bowl allowing a team to play there while Southern California erects a new stadium. If we are talking longer term like the back end of that five-year window, Los Angeles could very well have the time to build a new state-of-the-art complex for an existing team.
