Glazer bought the team in 1995 after former owner Hugh Culverhouse died. He served as team president with his sons working directly underneath him in the front office.
Tampa Bay’s official website had this to say in a press release.
Known among his league peers as a pioneering thinker, Glazer infused his team and employees with the determination and dedication to be the best in the NFL. Glazer’s commitment to building a championship organization has provided the foundation for continued success, on and off the field.
Glazer also owned the popular Manchester United soccer team, leading them to five Premier League titles.
