Apparently Peyton Manning hanging out in Tuscaloosa at the same time Broncos offensive coordinator, Adam Gase, could be a violation of the NFL’s Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). The CBA prohibits coaches from getting together with NFL players until their offseason workouts begin.
What was really going on, according to University of Alabama head coach, Nick Saban, was a brain-picking session between Manning and Saban on no-huddle offense. The NFL is currently looking into the situation. Personally, I think it’s commendable that Manning is still looking to improve.

Here’s a portion of an interview Saban later had with the Denver Post.
“I’m like shocked that anybody would think someone did anything wrong on their part,” Saban said by phone Friday night. “I never met with Adam. When I talked with him I talked about his family. Peyton, we talked an hour in the morning and an hour in the afternoon.
Asked specifically if Manning and Gase were in a meeting at the same time, Saban said, “Only to say hello and b.s. with each other.
It all sounds harmless to me, and really doesn’t the NFL have more real issues to deal with and bigger fish to fry, like Aldon Smith making bomb threats in airports and Ray Rice dragging unconscious women out of elevators?
Even Peyton’s head agrees.
Anyone seen Aldon Smith? RT @ABC7 #BREAKINGNEWS LAX Terminal 7 partially evacuated after man states he has bomb in bag; man in custody
