Amy Trask served as the CEO of the Oakland Raiders for 18 years before resigning in 2013. Now the talented front office executive is taking her talents to Ice Cube’s new professional basketball league, BIG3, to serve that burgeoning league in the same capacity.
Ice Cube, a longtime Raiders fan, announced the news on Twitter Tuesday morning.

Trask, who will still serve as an analyst for CBS Sports, is excited about this new venture.
“I Â am thrilled to work with Ice Cube, Jeff (Kwatinetz) and Roger (Mason Jr.) on this exciting new adventure and I am thrilled to continue television work as well – both Big3 and CBS Sports Network are sensational and it is my privilege and pleasure to be associated with both of these tremendous organizations,” Trask told Sportsnaut on Tuesday.
This is a powerful acquisition for BIG3. Already flushed with top names on the talent and coaching side, the decision to bring Trask aboard raises a standard emblazoned with neon trim that says, “We’re a top-of-the-line enterprise.”
Throw in a television deal and it’s clear the BIG3 is getting off to an ideal start.
