Former NFL offensive lineman LeCharles Bentley is reportedly suing NBC’s hit weight loss show “The Biggest Loser.” Bentley is accusing the show of ripping off his personal logo, per TMZ.
“Bentley says he sent a cease and desist letter, which was ignored … so now he’s suing NBC Universal and the producers for trademark infringement. He wants the logo changed, and a cut of the revenue ‘Loser’ made while using the new one,” per TMZ.
Looking at the two logos together, it’s easy to understand why Bentley is upset.

Pure speculation here, but should Bentley win this case or should NBC settle out of court, the former NFL lineman might make more money off this than he will make off his logo in the long run.
During his NFL tenure, Bentley was one of the better interior linemen. He made two Pro Bowls and started 57 games in four years.
His career was cut short after he shredded his knee in 2007, right after he signed a big free-agent deal with the Cleveland Browns. During his recovery, Bentley suffered a staph infection and reportedly nearly lost his leg in the process. He later sued the Browns and ended up agreeing to a settlement in that case.
