Deshaun Watson, Cleveland Browns

Watson will go on injured reserve with a broken bone in his throwing shoulder and a high-ankle sprain. The embattled QB had been dealing with the shoulder injury since all the way back in Week 3. He’s now lost for the year in yet another setback for a player who started 12 games in his first two seasons with Cleveland. Rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson will start in his stead over veteran P.J. Walker for a 6-3 Browns squad moving forward.

Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams

Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

Stafford missed Los Angeles’ Week 9 outing with a right thumb injury before the team’s bye last week. Rams head coach Sean McVay noted earlier in the week that Stafford is practicing on the side and that he should be good to go for Week 11 against the Seattle Seahawks. If Stafford can’t go, the recently signed Carson Wentz might see reps. In addition to his injury, Stafford has struggled this season (8 TD, 7 INT in eight starts).

Justin Fields, Chicago Bears

Fields has missed the past four games due to a thumb injury on his throwing hand. The good news here is that he is expected to start Week 11 against the Detroit Lions. The bad news? Chicago is taking on the Detroit Lions. Prior to going down, Fields had accounted for 12 touchdowns and six interceptions while continuing to struggle through the air. This could be his last chance to prove to Chicago’s brass that he is the long-term solution under center.

Derek Carr, New Orleans Saints

nfl injury report week 11: derek carr
Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports

Carr exited last week’s game against the Minnesota Vikings with a shoulder injury and didn’t return. Saints head coach Dennis Allen says that Carr’s shoulder is just fine. But he’s also now in the NFL concussion protocol leading up to the Saints’ Week 11 bye. We’ll have further updates in our NFL injury report moving forward. If Carr is sidelined, Jameis Winston would start under center in New Orleans. He threw two interceptions in last week’s loss to the Vikings.

Raheem Mostert/De’Von Achane, Miami Dolphins

nfl injury report: raheem mostert
Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Mostert has not practiced with the Dolphins following their bye week due to an undisclosed injury. It’s not yet known what he’s dealing with, but the star back has dealt with nagging injuries throughout the season. Mostert has been tremendous all season, recording 756 total yards and a league-leading 13 touchdowns.

Rookie running back De’Von Achane has missed the past four games due to a knee injury. Miami just opened up his three-week practice window as the team decides whether to activate the star youngster from injured reserve. Achane has a real good chance to play Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders. Stay tuned to our NFL injury report for further updates.

Dameon Pierce, Houston Texans

NFL: New Orleans Saints at Houston Texans
Maria Lysaker-USA TODAY Sports

Pierce has missed the past two games with an ankle injury, and was replaced in the lineup by free agent signing Devin Singletary. He went for 150 yards in last week’s win over the Cincinnati Bengals. There have been no concreate updates on Pierce’s status heading into Week 11 against the Arizona Cardinals. But he has not been good as a sophomore (327 yards, 3.0 average).

Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings

Jefferson’s practice window opened up last week after missing the past four games with a hamstring injury. While he’s a full-participant in practice, Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell opted to sit him against the Saints. At this point, it’s iffy that Jefferson will suit up Week 11 against the Denver Broncos. The Vikings will continue to ramp up his activity in practice and go from there. We’ll have updates on Jefferson’s status on this page miving forward.

Tee Higgins, Cincinnati Bengals

Katie Stratman-USA TODAY Sports

Higgins missed last week’s outing against the Houston Texans with a hamstring and has already been ruled out for Thursday’s huge matchup with the Baltimore Ravens. The expectation is that Ja’Marr Chase will continue to see a large target share from Joe Burrow in this one.

Keeen Allen, Los Angeles Chargers

nfl injury report: keenan allen
Orlando Ramirez-USA TODAY Sports

Allen exited briefly last week against the Detroit Lions with a shoulder injury, but was able to return. He ended up tallying 11 catches for 175 yards and two touchdowns. Despite this, Allen has been limited in practice. He’s considered day-to-day heading into Week 11 against the Green Bay Packers.

Michael Thomas, New Orleans Saints

NFL: New Orleans Saints at Indianapolis Colts
Marc Lebryk-USA TODAY Sports

Thomas sustained a knee injury in the first drive of the game last week against the Vikings. Head coach Dennis Allen indicates that said injury is “significant.” Though, they are getting a second opinion. This comes amid off-field issues last week in which Thomas was arrested for throwing a brick at someone’s car in New Orleans. On the field, he’s caught 39 passes for 448 yards in 10 games this season.

Dallas Goedert, Philadelphia Eagles

nfl injury report: dallas goedert
Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

Goedert suffered a fractured forearm in a Week 10 win over the Dallas Cowboys and will miss multiple weeks of action. He could also land on injured reserve, costing the stud tight end at least four games of action. That decision has not been made.

Philadelphia doesn’t have another tight end on the roster capable of coming close to duplicating Goedert’s production (38 receptions, 410 yards). Jack Stoll is second among Eagles tight ends this season in receptions with two.
