Washington Nationals leadoff man Trea Turner got a bead on a 96 mile-per-hour fastball up and in against the New York Yankees and sent it soaring.
Yankees starter Jonathan Loáisiga left this one hanging up in the zone and Turner turned on it hard, launching a rocket-shot home run into left-center field that was a no-doubter.
The solo home run by Turner gave the Nationals an early 1-0 lead over the Yankees in the third inning of Sunday’s game.
