Apparently the Cleveland Cavaliers were hoping for a commitment from free agent forward LeBron James on Thursday. A commitment that never came.
Cavs talked w/ agents Thursday on players designed to surround LeBron James. Had hopes he'd commit to Cleveland before day's end. Nothing.

This seems to make a lot of sense considering that Cleveland traded away both Jarrett Jack and Tyler Zeller in order to clear cap room for a potential James’ signing.
It’s not known what James failing to commit to the Cavaliers means moving forward.
We do know that reports indicated both LeBron James and Dwyane Wade departed together from Las Vegas and landed hours later in Miami, Florida. James is also expected to attend the World Cup Final in Brazil this weekend.
Hopefully some sort decision is made on Friday.
