According to Bleacher Report, Houston Astros’ left-handed pitcher Rudy Owens has been recalled to start against the Seattle Mariners on Friday night.
The 26 year old has accumulated a 6.05 ERA in 41.2 innings in Triple-A this season.
Right-handed pitcher Josh Reid has been optioned.
