Andre Iguodala has explosive allegations of Warriors covering up injuries

Andre Iguodala has been one of the key members of the Golden State Warriors since the dynasty began, but now that he’s looking at life after basketball he’s opening up about some dark stuff.

Iguodala was a guest on Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club Tuesday morning to promote his new book, “The Sixth Man.”

He shared some explosive allegations that indicate the Warriors have lied about injuries, and that players are pressured by their own peers about returning before they may be ready.

Specifically, he said that the Warriors put it out there last postseason that he was dealing with a bone bruise when in fact he had a fractured leg, which he suffered in the Western Conference Finals against the Houston Rockets.

He said players and coaches pressured him into playing. He also said that Kevin Durant received similar treatment this postseason as he attempted to come back from what was reported as a calf strain.

Here’s a clip of Iguodala speaking on this issue:

In the past week, it’s been reported that Durant feels he didn’t get treated properly by Golden State. Now, Iguodala seems to be making the same claim.

This warrants further investigation, to be sure.
