The Seattle Seahawks, win or lose Sunday, have a chance to win the NFC West next weekend and have had a fantastic season overall. Yet on Sunday in a stinker of a performance against the Arizona Cardinals, they were heavily booed by their own fans.
Down 20-10 in the fourth quarter, they heard it from the home crowd at CenturyLink Field.
This was a common theme throughout the second half, which saw Seattle fall into a 20-7 hole until finally scoring a field goal early in the fourth.
As weird as this scene is, it shouldn’t surprise anyone. Seahawks fans have done this before, after all, and appear to be spoiled for success.
