When Nathan Peterman was cast aside for street free agent Matt Barkley last week, the writing seemed to be on the wall. One of the worst quarterbacks we’ve ever seen take to the NFL field, the Buffalo Bills released the second-year player on Monday.
Peterman finished his illustrious career in Western New York by throwing three touchdowns and 12 interceptions in eight games (four starts).
Prior to being released, Bills fans had actually set up a retirement fund to rid themselves of the former fifth-round pick.
Now that Peterman is no longer a member of the Bills, fans were breathing a sigh of relief.

Others decided it was best to have some fun with it.
This is the first Nathan Peterman release that won't be picked up by another team

Others were sending the Peter Man their best wishes.
I genuinely hope nothing but the best for Nathan Peterman moving forward. But this was a move that was overdue.
