One of baseball’s top prospects is making his way to the majors. The Tampa Bay Rays announced on Tuesday that Willy Adames has been promoted and will start at shortstop during Tuesday’s game against the Boston Red Sox.

Per MLB.com, Adames is the No. 22 prospect in the game. He grades out as the No. 5 shortstop and No. 2 prospect in the Tampa organization.
Adames was hittingĀ .311/.387/.466 in Triple-A Durham, with four home runs prior to his promotion.
