WATCH: Dalvin Cook scorches Clemson on 70-yard TD run

Dalvin Cook

Dalvin Cook is a bad, bad man. The Florida State running back was shut down during the first half of Saturday night’s game against Clemson. Before the third quarter had concluded, he had 153 yards to his credit.

Following a 43-yard score earlier in the third quarter, Cook took off like a rocket at the end of the period on a 70-yard touchdown run.

For football nerds, Cook’s acceleration around the corner and the prolonged speed he displayed to get to the end zone is about as titillating as it comes.

This touchdown put Florida State up by eight points, 28-20, heading into the final period. After starting the game with a 14-point lead, suddenly the Tigers were in trouble, with Doak Campbell Stadium fully electrified thanks to the play of Cook.
