Our NFL Week 11 fantasy football start and sit recommendations are now live after a pretty stellar previous week around the fake football world.

We recommended to start San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy. All he did was throw for nearly 300 yards with three touchdowns and zero interceptions. It was also our recommendation to sit Joe Burrow. He proceeded to throw two interceptions.

Moving forward to this week, Jordan Love and Jared Goff both have plus-level matchups at quarterback. Meanwhile, Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry is facing an uphill climb. The same thing can be said for Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Brandin Cooks after a stellar Week 10 showing.

Without further ado, here’s our fantasy football start and sit analysis for Week 11 of the NFL season.

Week 11 fantasy football start and sit: Quarterbacks

Start

Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers

Jordan Love had a decent outing going last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers before throwing two late interceptions. He still ended up tallying 300 total yards and two touchdowns in the loss. Love is a great play in Week 11 against a Los Angeles Chargers team that is yielding the second-most fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. Jared Goff went off for 333 yards and two touchdowns against this unit last week, too.

Jared Goff, Detroit Lions

Speaking of Goff, his Week 11 matchup against the Chicago Bears is all sorts of promising. Goff went for four touchdowns and zero interceptions in two games against Chicago last season. Meanwhile, these Bears are giving up 20 touchdown passes compared to six interceptions to quarterbacks through 10 games. Start Goff and thank us later.

Sit

Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

After struggling during their three-game losing streak, the San Francisco 49ers’ defense took it to Trevor Lawrence last week. He threw for just 185 yards with zero touchdowns and three giveaways in the quarterback’s worst performance of the season. All said, San Francisco has given up just 10 touchdown passes compared to 13 interceptions on the season. Despite his recent stellar play, Mayfield just isn’t a realistic start in Week 11.

Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills

On the other end of the spectrum, Allen was a disaster class in last week’s loss to the Denver Broncos. He turned the ball over three times, leading to the Bills firing offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey. Allen has not been a realistic QB1 option over the past two games with turnovers plaguing him throughout the season. It doesn’t get easier this week against a Jets team that forced four Allen turnovers back in Week 1 and has given up just nine touchdown passes in as many games.

Week 11 fantasy footall start and sit: Running backs

Start

Tony Pollard, Dallas Cowboys

Pollard has not been great from a fantasy perspective this season. He heads into Week 11 ranked 25th among running backs after placing eighth in 2022. But it’s all about matchups in the fake football world. With Dallas taking on a Carolina Panthers team that has yielded the second-most fantasy points to running backs, Pollard is an easy start. In fact, Carolina gave up 133 rushing yards to the Chicago Bears last week.

Raheem Mostert, Miami Dolphins

With Miami coming off its bye to take on the Las Vegas Raiders, it’s obviously time to continue buying stock in Mostert. He’s the second-ranked fantasy back heading into Week 11 and has scored a whopping 13 touchdowns on just 128 touches. As for Vegas, it has given up nearly 1,500 total yards and nine touchdowns to running backs this season.

Sit

Isiah Pacheco, Kansas City Chiefs

Running backs have done very little against the Philadelphia this season, going for a combined 475 yards on the ground in nine games. In fact, the defending champs have given up north of 100 rushing yards in just one game this season. Pacheco himself ranks just 20th among running backs in fantasy points. Look for Kansas City to attempt to defeat Philadelphia via Patrick Mahomes and the passing game in this Super Bowl rematch.

Derrick Henry, Tennessee Titans

This two-time NFL rushing champion now probably wishes that Tennessee had in fact dealt him ahead of the NFL trade deadline. Last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers saw Henry put up a mere 24 yards on 11 rush attempts. He’s now set to take on a Jacksonville Jaguars team that has given up the eighth fewest fantasy points to running backs on the season.

Week 11 fantasy football start and sit: Wide receivers

Start

Brandon Aiyuk, San Francisco 49ers

Aiyuk enters Week 11 ranked as the 15th-best fantasy receiver. He’s averaging a whopping 17.8 yards per catch. Those go hand in hand. He’s now taking on a Buccaneers team that has given up the fourth-most fantasy points to wide receivers as well as an average of 13.9 yards per reception. Literally, do the math here.

Romeo Doubs, Green Bay Packers

If there is any game to stream the young tandem of Jordan Love and Doubs, it’s certainly Week 11 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Brandon Staley’s squad has given up the fifth-most fantasy points to receivers while allowing players at this position to catch 64% of their targets. It’s been a disaster class in Southern California. That’s for sure.

Sit

George Pickens, Pittsburgh Steelers

No one outside of the Indianapolis Colts have had success on offense against the Browns’ defense. That’s no more true than at wide receiver with this position averaging 123 yards per game. They are also catching a mere 52% of their passes. We dislike this matchup for Kenny Pickett, George Pickens and the Steelers’ passing game.

Brandin Cooks, Dallas Cowboys

Fresh off a Week 10 outing in which he caught nine passes for 173 yards, a lot of people are going to be streaming Cooks. Don’t buy into it. Prior to last week, he had put up 165 yards in seven games. Going up against a Panthers defense that has yielded the third-fewest fantasy points to wide receivers, sit Cooks. He’s not going to have much of an impact at all.

Week 11 fantasy football start and sit: Tight ends

Start

T.J. Hockenson, Minnesota Vikings

Hockenson has caught 35 passes over the past two games, including 18 in his past two outings with Joshua Dobbs starting for the Vikings. He now has an elite matchup against a Broncos squad that has given up the most fantasy points to tight ends this season.

Sit

Cade Otton, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Otton has acted the part of a safety valve for Baker Mayfield this season, catching 73% of his 41 targets. Unfortunately, he’s also averaging a mere 8.5 yards per reception. Don’t expect that to change Sunday against a 49ers defense that has allowed the second-fewest fantasy points and 301 yards to tight ends in nine games.
