What was a very odd situation between the Buffalo Bills and superstar receiver Stefon Diggs on Tuesday, came to a satisfying end on Wednesday.
Yesterday, things got very weird and confusing when it came to Stefon Diggs’ participation at Buffalo Bills mini-camp. It all started when head coach Sean McDermott made ears perk up when he sounded off “concern” bells when the receiver never took to the practice field and decided to head home earlier than expected.

The speculation only intensified when team leaders like Josh Allen and Von Miller were also vague when asked about their teammates’ surprise early departure. In a time during the NFL year when many players are displaying dissatisfaction with their teams via hold-ins or hold-outs, Diggs being miffed with the Buffalo Bills trended with other headlines in the league.
Buffalo Bills record (2022): 13-3
It seemed all the more possible that this might be the early signs of the three-time Pro Bowler wanting out of Buffalo since he forced his exit from his previous home in Minnesota, and was publicly frustrated with the team’s Divisional Round loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in the playoffs.
- Stefon Diggs stats (2022): 108 catches, 1,429 yards, 11 touchdowns
However, all the concerns and possible speculation was put to rest on Wednesday when ESPN Buffalo Bills reporter Alaina Getzenberg posted a video on Twitter of Stefon Diggs at practice and apparently in a pretty good mood.
Hopefully, this should end any talk of the pass-catcher having any serious issues with the organization as they look to get ready for their 2023 campaign. A season that could make or break for many key players on the team, the coaching staff, and some in the front office.
