NFL injury report Week 13: Quarterbacks
Player | Team | Injury | Backup | Status |
Aaron Rodgers | Jets | Achilles | Zach Wilson | INJURED RESERVE |
Dorian Thompson-Robinson | Browns | Concussion | P.J. Walker/Joe Flacco | QUESTIONABLE |
Aaron Rodgers, New York Jets
Rodgers is still seemingly targeting a Christmas Eve return against the Washington Commanders after suffering a torn Achilles back in Week 1. A lot of this will be up to the Jets’ medical team and whether they are even in playoff contention once that game comes calling. More recently, Rodgers did note that New York’s place in the standings could play a role.
As of right now, New York finds itself at 4-7 on the season and out of the AFC Playoff race. Tim Boyle replaced an ineffective Zach Wilson under center last week, throwing two interceptions in a blowout loss to the Miami Dolphins. With the Jets having scored 50 points in the past five games, no one on their offense is fantasy relevant.
Dorian Thompson-Robinson, Cleveland Browns
Thompson-Robinson suffered a concussion in last week’s loss to the Denver Broncos. He was replaced under center by P.J. Walker, who struggled big time. It has led to speculation that free-agent signing Joe Flacco could start for Cleveland against the Los Angeles Rams this week.
It will be all about whether Thompson-Robinson can pass through the NFL concussion protocol in time for Sunday’s game. We’ll have updates on our NFL injury report regarding his status moving forward.
NFL injury report Week 13: Running backs
Player | Team | Injury | Backup | Status |
Jonathan Taylor | Colts | Thumb | Zack Moss | OUT |
Aaron Jones | Packers | Knee | A.J. Dillon | DOUBTFUL |

Jerick McKinnon | Chiefs | Groin | Clyde Edwards-Helaire | QUESTIONABLE |
Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts
- Update: Taylor will undergo thumb surgery later in the week and is expected to miss 2-3 games
Taylor showed up on the injury report Tuesday with a thumb ailment after going for 91 yards and two touchdowns last week. The 2021 NFL rushing champion had also been drug tested by the NFL after that performance.
According to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, this is a situation to watch with “all options considered.” We’re not 100% sure what this means. But our NFL injury report moving forward on the week will have updates.

Aaron Jones, Green Bay Packers
Jones missed last week’s win over the Detroit Lions with a sprained MCL. It’s looking more and more like a multi-week absence for the star running back. A.J. Dillon paced Green Bay with 43 yards on 14 attempts against Detroit. Patrick Taylor had 11 yards on three rushes.
With Dillon more than likely out for this week’s outing against the Kansas City Chiefs, neither of those backs can be seen as fantasy relevant. Instead, it will be up to Jordan Love to do his thing after the quarterback threw three touchdowns last week.
Kenneth Walker, Seattle Seahawks
Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said this past Friday that the hope is Walker will be able to go Thursday against the Dallas Cowboys. He missed last week’s outing against the San Francisco 49ers with an oblique injury.
In Walker’s stead, rookie Zach Charbonnet went for 47 yards on 14 attempts. Seattle better hope that Walker is able to go. We’ll have updates moving forward on our Week 13 NFL injury report as it relates to his status.
NFL injury report Week 13: Wide receivers
Player | Team | Injury | Backup | Status |
Justin Jefferson | Vikings | Hamstring | Brandon Powell | BYE WEEK |
Chris Olave | Saints | Concussion | Keith Kirkwood | QUESTIONABLE |
Amari Cooper | Browns | Ribs | James Proche | QUESTIONABLE |
Tee Higgins | Bengals | Hamstring | Andrei Iosivas | Questionable |
Michael Thomas | Saints | Knee | A.T. Perry | OUT |
Treylon Burks | Titans | Concussion | Chris Moore | QUESTIONABLE |
Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings
Minnesota finally activated Jefferson off injured reserve after he missed the past seven games due to a hamstring injury. Jefferson will be active once Minnesota returns from its bye Week 14 against the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Vikings are going to need this after Joshua Dobbs four-interception performance this past Monday night. In five games this season, Jefferson has recorded 36 receptions for 571 yards and three touchdowns.
Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints
Olave dominated last week against the Atlanta Falcons before leaving with a concussion, catching seven passes for 114 yards. He’ll need to pass through the concussion protocol in order to play Sunday against the Detroit Lions.
Amari Cooper, Cleveland Browns
Cooper left Sunday’s loss to the Broncos with a rib injury. He did not return to action. The good news here is that Cleveland doesn’t believe said injury is serious. The bad news? Cooper has caught just six passes for 50 yards in the two games since Deshaun Watson went down with a season-ending injury. No Browns offensive players are fantasy relevant options right now.
Tee Higgins, Cincinnati Bengals
Higgins has missed each of the past three games with a hamstring injury. However, the impending free agent hopes that he can go Monday night against the Jacksonville Jaguars. It might not matter too much with Joe Burrow lost for the season and Jake Browning taking QB1 reps for the Bengals. But it is something to keep an eye on.
NFL injury report Week 13: Tight ends

Luke Musgrave | Packers | Abdominal | INJURED RESERVE | |
Greg Dulcich | Broncos | Leg | Adam Trautman | DOUBTFUL |
Zach Ertz | Cardinals | Quadriceps | Trey McBride | INJURED RESERVE |
Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens
There was an initial belief that Andrews would be lost for the season after he suffered an ankle injury back in Week 11. While that might still be the case, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh is hopeful to get him back. Baltimore finds itself on a bye. If you can, pick up Isaiah Likely off the waiver wire.
Dallas Goedert, Philadelphia Eagles
Goedert has missed the past three games with a arm injury. While it initially seemed that he’d be placed on injured reserve, the star tight end is hopeful to go Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers.
